That's so stupid it's laughable on the surface.

1. Small town? It's smaller than many high schools. It's a proto-hamlet or micro-village at best

3. I don't know. I guess it's all in your perspective.
I mean, I know it's a fairly small town, but in my state it would be a pretty big one.

4. Obama is one of the MOST qualified candidates ever. Palin the least
A quick check of Wikipedia shows that Obama is MORE EXPERIENCED than 2/3 of the presidents in history were, and Palin doesn't even crack the glass floor...

5. Remember when Rove said this about Kaine's lack of experience
Rove singled out Virginia governor Tim Kaine, also a Face The Nation guest, as an example of such a pick.

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2008/08/10/ftn/main4336134.shtml

"With all due respect again to Governor Kaine, he's been a governor for three years, he's been able but undistinguished," Rove said. "I don't think people could really name a big, important thing that he's done. He was mayor of the 105th largest city in America."

6. And she was mayor of the 347,294th largest city
One of those towns that is so small that the mayoral job is 4 hours per month, and automatically simultaneous with dogcatcher. A McDonald's assistant manager has more executive experience.

7. We don't want to go that route.
She's a sitting Governor.

Obama was dumb to point to his experience running a campaign versus hers as a small town mayor. Especially dumb to point out numbers - hers are all bigger for the last two years.

Hammer away at the policy positions, keep the inexerience debate off the table, and stfu about family.

8. We don't want to go that route anyway
But there is no way she can claim to have more experience than he does! NO WAY! She has never even left the country! She has NEVER been involved in any national decisionmaking process, EVER! The idea is laughable! There is no way she has bigger numbers than he does!

9. She's officially in charge of a budget of $11 billion dollars
and manages a state with 25,000 employees.

They throw those number right back in Obama's face when he says dumb things like "I manage a campaign that spends $30 million a month with a staff of 2500."

And national decision making process isn't a prerequisite. See Carter, Jimmy; Reagan, Ronald; Clinton, Bill; Bush, Twit - just to name a few of the recent cases.

10. The point I was trying to make is:
She does not have more experience than Obama and Biden, as Guiliani said. There is no way that case can be made. Governor of Alaska for half a term doesn't outweigh a seat in the Senate by any means as far as national experience goes. Staffing management isn't a prerequisite either - look at McCain, Nixon, LBJ, Kennedy, etc. All of them were congressmen first instead of governors.
