Oh No....
It seems to me that the MSM is ignoring the facts of Palin's history and focusing on the process used to choose her....I want the MSM to bring out the trash of Palin...there is plenty of it! God knows that if Obama had trash it would all be disclosed and the MSM would be reporting on it around the clock.

1. No, the lack of vetting is the issue.
It shows a complete lack of judgment by the guy at the top of the ticket, as well as a good mix of impulsiveness and petulance.

2. Exactly
THAT is the big story. All the rest is fluff. Not that I don't want the bloggers to continue to do what they're doing - get every piece of dirt they can on this wretched woman. The tabloids will take care of that - it will be seen by every person waiting in line at the store.

7. I agree
it shows a HUGE lack of being able to find facts and analyze a situation before deciding.

3. It highlights McCain's lack of good decision making skills
and highlight's his rash and thoughtless leadership abilities.

4. Lack of vetting more important- implication is McCain's lack of judgement
and impulsiveness along with putting a big question mark over her competence.

6. patience grasshopper
all in good time there's so much stuff they cant spew it all at once.

It will all come out in time.

You should be happy that they will be writing stories about her scandals all the way up to the election.

8. And don't forget that Biden hasn't had a chance to go after her non-record yet.
That debate should be an interesting one.... if I can stand to listen to her voice for the length of the debate, that is.

10. Exactly our side doesnt really even get to respond till after the convention
Once our guys get on stage and start pointing out all of her nuttier positions it will be pretty hard to frame her as anything but the lunatic she is.

9. Vetting is the better issue, because it hits McCain's readiness for the job.
People generally vote for president, not vice president. We need to convince them that McCain shouldn't be president. The slipshod way he made this decision helps in that regard.

11. Both are important.
The vetting issue shows a weakness in McCain's judgement.

Reporters are investigating Palin's history right now. Editors and supervisors in the media are making sure that all their sources are solid. The controversial issues from her past will be the focus after the republican convention.
