So who exactly "beat corruption" in Alaska?

You've heard the new buzzphrase of the day - She took on the party establishment and "beat corruption" in AK (biggest state in the union based on wacky fundie wingnuts per capita).

Well it occurs to me that the DOJ and FBI actually took on the establishment... I seem to recall that every Republick politician in Alaska has either been indicted, is under investigation, or about to be. Seems to me that Sarah was placed on third base and rubbed some dirt on her uniform and started celebrating her triple.

This also leads me to believe that Sarah may be the reason that Ted Stevens was hung out to dry, i.e. they let the DOJ prosecute a criminal rather than block the investigation.
