Jim Matthews: No one talks about the back up quarterback
Chris Matthews: They would if the starting quarterback was 72!

Paraphrased from "Morning Joe" this morning. As Chris Matthews would say, HA!

1. With rare exceptions, very few will vote for Biden or Palin, but the VP choice COULD alienate some
voters.

I think McCain't has actually alienated voters. We just need to make sure that the proverbial "waitress in Ohio" does not feel like she needs to "defend" Palin because the MSM has been so appalled by her selection, and this will be a net plus for us.

2. I know some who have emailed me and
are alienated by Palin. Both Republicans..both going Dem. this year..they like Obama and were leaning. Palin tipped both.
