So, is the MSM ever going to cover any of these Palin scandals?
Seriously. This is getting frustrating. A lot of people don't frequent the blogosphere, so the only thing they know about Palin is that "she's a reformer" and "she has a pregnant 17-year-old." The MSM, once again, is allowing Repug bullshit to go unchecked and untested.

I've heard brief mention in the MSM of the lobbyist that Madame "Reformer" hired to scarf up all the federal earmarks for Wasilla that she could get her grubby hands on. I've heard a mention of her being FOR the bridge to nowhere before being against it (hello? reformer? come on!). I've heard passing mention of her association with the Alaska Independence Party. I've heard WAY less than is decent about Troopergate.

Nothing about her LEAVING WASILLA IN DEBT when she left as mayor (boy, some REFORMER! some executive experience!). Nothing about her cutting funds for pregnant teens (LOL! what a HYPOCRITE!). Little about her and her husband's association with AIP and what that means (she's NOT a patriot -- she's basically anti-USA, and yet wants to be VP?). Nothing about her threatening a librarian and trying to ban books (anti-first-amendment -- MORE NON-PATRIOTISM). Nothing about her anti-semitic pastor (if that ever gets wide play, I don't EVER wanna hear about Rev. Wright again from the Repugs!).

Even NPR let Neocon Juan Williams be the reporter of record to talk about Palin this morning (UGH! Fox, meet henhouse!) NPR let McCain's spokesperson off the hook when she refused to answer questions about Palin's (extremely limited) foreign travel. Now I hear that her one non-Alaska-guard trip -- to Ireland -- was basically a fueling stop in Shannon.

Palin gets to portray her son as this patriot who enthusiastically joined up to fight for our country, when we now know that his grades were too rotten for him to get the hockey scholarship to college that he wanted (and he may have done military time instead of jail time for his participation in the vandalism of more than 40 schoolbuses). I admit that one's probably a nonstarter -- we're supposed to lay off the kids (and the military).

I'm just getting REALLY frustrated with the major newspapers and TV outlets. That's the only way to reach a LOT of voters. I know they have the info ... because we all keep SENDING it to them. So when will it all come out?

2. No they will not.
The M$M media does and says exactly what the owners of the media say. Its that simple. For a producer to go against his boss is career suicide. And for the "reporters" (rather talking heads I should say), to go against the producers (if TV or radio, editors if print) is career suicide.

No the "reporters" will do and say what they are told because they want to keep their jobs.

3. Apparently, the "National Enquirer" has sent...
...their "Edwards Team" to Alaska.

Maybe these guys will actually do some reporting.

It's pretty pathetic when the damn MSM won't do their jobs.

At this point, my only hope is the "National Enquirer" digs and
actually isn't afraid to report the truth about Palin.

Sick and pathetic.

Woodward and Bernstein, where are you?

5. The babygate thing has been all over CNN; perhaps you've
missed it.

This morning the Today Show covered both the baby story and the trooper story.

They also were interviewing folks in Wasilla who obviously do NOT like her.

The thing with the son I haven't heard, but I don't think you're going to see any news organization go after an Iraq-bound soldier.

11. I mean BESIDES Babygate, which is definitely a non-starter.
You can't pile on a pregnant 17-year-old and her mom. That'll just have the puggies circling the wagons around their precious Sarah.

I'm talking about issues that go to the heart of her ability to govern ... new stories that PROVE she's no "great reformer." She sold an airplane on E-bay. Big friggin' deal. It was politics (and money-grubbing and financial mismanagement) as usual in Wasilla!

6. Same in 2004, when MSM had everything to counter Swift Boaters from Day One.
They CHOSE to keep it a 50/50 maybe, despite all the evidence.

13. Will people finally understand
that we have to go after the media and that there's not much the campaign can do when the media just lies and lies and lies. People will believe "journalists" over campaign ads, every single time.

9. Screw Palin, we're running against McCain
Though I understand she's fair game, Democrats keep attacking her, it looks like piling on. As for the MSM, they're in the tank for McCain/Palin.

10. The newspapers have been covering it and actually started it (not the "librul 'bloggers").
The TV, not so much.
