Introducing your unwed daughter's baby daddy to a room full of social conservatives
Ideas?
Suggestions?

Boy the army of "Tucker"s and "E. III"s on McCain staff must be wringling their hands. They don't teach this sort of stuff at Cornell and Haaahvad.

Ladies and Gentlemen.....

Tough spot that one.

45. I want to be just like Bristol! Look at all the attention
she's getting! And isn't Levi cute? It's just so romantic. Just like "The Hills". With smowmobiles. Expect even more unplanned fundy babies. Bristol and Levi will be their new role models. And we'll have the spectacle of all those righteous Republicans standing and cheering these two kids for what exactly? Well, for fornication outside the confines of marriage.
Damn those gay people. They did this to Bristol and Levi.
I see a new reality show brewing!

31. Matthew 25 would beg to diffa:
25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

25:42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
25:43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
25:44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
25:45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
25:46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

even my mother (W supporter) this morning:

I said, "You know if (our daughter) was pregnant"

She cut me off shaking her head "I know exactly what you are going to say. No you can't throw someone into this like that. You would have to say no to the offer"

Amazing. THAT is what is permeating here.

30. Even my fundie MIL (who loves Palin on the issues) said
something along the lines of "How can she do that to her daughter, if she has to accept, why parade her daughter around" (of course she thinks it's the nasty media being hard on Palin, but seems to recognize that even if it is the media, the choice on how to handle it is Palin's)

32. I had a similar experience when I was dating someone with 8 -big- brothers and a sister, once.
Ah, I remember it like it was yesterday.

They formed a circle of chairs around a central chair with a bright lamp focused on it.... Then, I was dragged in
and restrained on the central chair while the group formed an interrogation squad loving family around me.

After six hours of all of this intimidation family loving closeness, I was finally able to assure them my intentions concerning their sibling were honorable.

36. Personally, I want nothing to do with anyone in a family like that.

I've run into it only once that I can recall. I told 'em to shove it then walked out.

I did talk to her about it. She wanted someone who was strong enough to stand up to her family. I wanted a woman who was strong enough to stand on her own two feet. So we agreed that we really didn't much care for one another. Nice to find these things out early.

which has been set to "private" since the story broke

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/uselection2008/republicans/2667226/Father-to-be-of-Sarah-Palins-granchild-a-bad-boy-redneck.html

The boyfriend of Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin's pregnant daughter describes himself as a ....redneck who likes to snowboard and ride dirt bikes.
''

The description appears in a profanity-laden entry posted by Levi Johnston in his MySpace account. The entry was made private over the weekend, but not before several media outlets published parts of it.

Johnston, 18, is believed to be the father of Palin's 17-year-old daughter Bristol's baby. On Monday, Palin revealed that the unwed Bristol is five months pregnant.

In a statement, Palin and her husband said the young couple will marry soon.

But in Johnston's MySpace entry, the teenager hints that fatherhood was not in his immediate plans.

Johnston says he is ''in a relationship,'' but on the question about how he feels about children he said: ....I don't want kids.
''

He also says his true love is ice hockey.

Here's part of his entry before it was made private:

'I'm a f--kin' redneck who likes to snowboard and ride dirt bikes. But I live to play hockey. I like to go camping and hang out with the boys, do some fishing, shoot some s--t and just f--kin' chillin' I guess. Ya f--k with me I'll kick ass.
"

Status: ....In a relationship.
''

Children: ....I don't want kids.
''

44. One thing you're forgetting about fundies: if it's one of their own, they'll rationalize ANYTHING.
They couldn't care less that the entire Palin family is sleazy--she's one of their own, so they'll rationalize and protect. It's anybody opposed to them that they'll go after viciously.

They are the very definition of hypocrisy.
