1. Not even a dead cat bounce from the Palin announcement?
Sad.

2. One-point improvement with leaners for McCain
So maybe that was it. If so, it was delayed.

6. But let's not get complacent
(He said somewhat complacently.)

The bounce for Obama took a while to develop. If there is a bounce for McCain because of the convention and/or Palin, it may also show up over time.

If Obama still has a solid lead after another week, I think we can start feeling optimistic.

7. Yep, good news that it looks like just 1% of Obama support..

went back to undecided/another candidate. I have a feeling that Palin will give a well coached, technically good speech even though it will be full of lies, pandering, and phoniness. If we can survive both Palin and McCain's speeches still ahead by more than before the conventions, I think it looks very positive for us.

8. BTW..
I do think we will still be ahead by more than before the conventions, because Obama seemed to put to rest the fears many voters had.
