NEWSFLASH: Mika on Morning Joe this morning...........
"WE LOVE PALIN~!"

Mika yesterday: "They (the Palins) didn't take the EASY WAY OUT" (referring to a pro-choice matter).

I am never going to watch this show again...........EVER

Joe "there's a dead intern in my office" has just lost my support.

1. Only an ignorant fool would consider abortion "the easy way out".

5. Three months after I had bypass surgery, I got pregnant.
I was 38. I was thrilled, because I had never been pregnant before and I figured it had to fate or something. Then came the bad news--there was a large fibroid tumor blocking my cervix. My only options were 1)abortion or 2)hemorrhaging and an emergency hysterectomy. The fetus would not survive. Of course, I had the abortion.

I wonder what would've happened if John McCain had been president at the time. I'm sure that if he's elected he'll have the opportunity to appoint a Supreme Court justice, making the majority of the Court Pro-Life.

Would they have let me hemorrhage and die?

15. Short answer: Yes. Adult women count for nothing, Palin-frenzy notwithstanding.

4. Wow - glad I don't watch this show.

Wasn't this Mika sidekick supposed to be less right wing than Scarborough?

18. She was designed to be "balance" but that's long over
Now she's just window dressing who reads the headlines at the top of the hour.

19. Joe Is An Outright Obnoxious, Know-It-All, Blowhard.......
he likes to hear himself talk and he has to dominate the conversation all the time.

Mika used to try and stand up to him and compete. She doesn't do that any more. It looks like she has just given up and lets him have his way. As a result - Mika has lost her edge and is just another giddy schoolgirl that laughs at Joe's bad attempts at jokes. It's too bad - because when Mika anchored that same show when Joe was out - she rocked.

It's too bad Mika's been reduced to this giddy schoolgirl - because Mika is better than she is on this show. If they want a giddy schoolgirl to sit next to Joe and laugh whenever he tries to be funny - then MSNBC should recruit Nora O'Donnell for the job. I think she's more affectionately known here to us at DU as "Noron" (play on the word Moron". They'll get an extra bonus with Noron - she has a laugh of a moron.

MSNBC needs to dump Joe. Let him go over to Fox or CNN. They'd be better off. They might even get their ratings up in the morning.

They're drunk on fucktardedness - laughing like kids at Disneyland. The only one that's halfway sane is Chuck Todd.

8. I made the choice to quit watching Morning Jerkoff last March and
haven't watched since. Joe doesn't deserve his own show. It's a shame he still has 297,000 viewers.

11. Joe is totally afraid that after we finish with Palin
we will realize that his dead intern should be 'back on the table'. Yesterday he was howling about, agitated because 'there are some things that just aren't talked about'. Right Joe, if I were you I would worry because if the Dems get in and discover what you were covering up, you my friend will have questions to answer.

13. I can't stand Mika.
Does she ever do anything except mugg for the camera and make stupid comments?

This is off topic, but am I the only one who thinks Mike Murphy always looks like an unmade bed?

as more and more dirt surfaces on Palin. They will rah rah rah their way right off the cliff.

17. Replace Mika with the business reporter that was on earlier
She was the only one who indicated that there were legitimate concerns about Palin. It's paraphrased a bit and she had to keep fighting to keep Joe from drowning her out but she did state "I think it's realistic to be worried about having someone who wants creationism taught in schools as the VP candidate."

What is truly disappointing is as soon as Buchanan found out Plain was a booster of his he went from "totally unqualified" to slobbering at her feet. For all of his (Buchanan's) issues with Bush over Iraq you'd think he'd be no more inclined to support McCain or Palin either.

I used to like the show when I first tuned in 4 or 5 months back as there seemed to be a genuine give and take and some sense of balance to the POV's expressed. However, the NY Times puff piece that ran just before the conventions sent Joe's ego into the stratosphere and Joe's perpetual talking over everyone whenever they try to make a point that contradicts his own has worn me down.

It's not even fun to watch in a "train wreck" sort of way at this point.

20. I caught a couple minutes of Mika last night
during the convention coverage. Much as I love DU, I was really longing for the old MediaWhores website, because Mika was whore incarnate. She bragged that Palin can skin a deer (so can I!)and that Palin knows how to handle a shotgun (so do I!).
Plus, Mika continually refers to George W. Bush as a "nice man". Constantly. Really? This is the "nice man" who referred to our troops killed in combat in Iraq as a "comma". He is responsible for the deaths of thousands of innocent people. He has repeatedly lied to the American people.
He is not a nice man.
I no longer watch Morning Joe. Which is a shame. It had promise in the beginning.
