This has nothing to do with him being a Blue Dog or a DLCer. A lot of moderate Democrats have been with Obama for a long, long time. Do the names Sebelius and Napolitano ring a bell? An FWIW, Obama was endorsed by more members of the Blue Dog caucus than Hillary.

The problem is Ford. Barack Obama came along and stole the role that Ford had always foreseen for himself. He's like the guy who was lifted for Lou Gehrig.
