This may be an unfortunate comparison, but it reminds me of someone deathly ill and you tell them you're sure they'll come out of it. You know damn well it isn't true and so do they, and there's almost no energy in the room. The smiles are forced and it's awkward as hell when you leave.

I think I saw a party on its death bed, at least for this cycle.

3. I keep scrubbing the toilets

I half a small half bath close to the TV and I have already scrubbed the toilet in there 17 times. I've used up 3 bottles of Sno Bowl and the brush is down to two bristles.
