Wow. Compare the halting, stumbling performances of *all* of their speakers to the

smooth, elegant, pitch perfect performance of every major speaker at the DNC.

Unfortunately, this being America, I fear the voters will hold that against our candidates. They don't like people who are really smart and really good at stuff.

BTW, I saw a lot of empty seats in the audience. I don't recall seeing any empty seats at the DNC when the major speakers were on.

On edit--I watched the DNC speakers with delight, enjoying every speech--and not just because they were on our side. I can barely even sit through five minutes of the speakers at the RNC. I keep switching to Ron Paul's speech at his rally.

Fred Thompson is on. At least as an actor he knows how to deliver his lines--even if his lines are nonsense.
