Two possibilities re The Baby:

1. The McCain campaign people did not know about The Baby. If they'd known (assuming they were even marginally not brain-dead), they'd have leaked the info ahead of time, floating the trial balloon, as it were, so it wouldn't be a big shocker when it came out. Announcing it on the first day of the convention is clearly a desperate measure, intended to beat the tabloids to the punch. If they didn't know, they're idiots.

2. They knew, and planned to keep the girl out of sight until after the election. If they knew, then it was their intention to conceal important information from the voters, which is, you know, a lie. Also not a very nice way to treat the girl. So, if they knew, then they're liars who were ashamed of a pregnant girl.

Clearly, this has caught them all by surprise. All except Caribou Barbie, who KNEW this was a ticking timebomb and who thought she and her hubby could take on the tremendous, unrelenting demands of campaigning across the nation for VP with a family in utter crisis every which way you look.

I have no respect for her, putting her children through this shit.

You're BS meter should be whistling Dixie by now.... So how did she know she would be laboring through the flight?

The question people should be asking is if her doctor had informed her, or she had known that flying while nearing the end of pregnancy is a major no no. Known to cause people to go into labor...

Since that is common knowledge amongst the expecting mothers community, was she trying to abort her baby?
