They Just Honored A Dead President That Was An Environmentalist......
Edited on Tue Sep-02-08 07:53 PM by global1
that gave us the National Park System and if he were alive today would be campaigning to do everything possible to minimize 'global warming'. And I don't think he would be for drilling in Anwar or off our pristine coasts either.

I bet Bush is feeling pretty good about this too. They honored a dead president over the parties presiding president. Wow!!!!

3. They've been comparing McCain and Palin to T. Roosevelt the entire day
I've even seen a guy in the crowd doing a Roosevelt imitation and I think there are guys in the crowd dressed as rough riders. Roosevelt would have clubbed McAnus and Palin over the head.

4. TR would be thrown out of the GOP today
How sad that they are comparing McCain "ant-grizzly i nthe nothern rockies" and anti-conservationist Palin to TR.

5. Well, conservationalist at least, and trust-buster. For all his other faults, he was both.
