1. It's a toss-up (not to be confused with a throw-up.)

3. She's here to stay. And after she is nominated tomorrow there's no turning back.
I can't believe that many people really think Palin will be gone at this point.

5. No.
My dream is that they'll do the smart thing & toss McCain too. Have a real open convention.

6. One hour today 'm 51-49 she stays, the next hour it flips to 51-49 she goes.
McCain, yet again, has no good choices here.

I think he does more sustained damage to his campaign if he keeps her on.

I also don't think Fred Thompson is going to change a lot of minds outside that convention hall tonight in his CHIVALROUS DEFENSE of Gov. Palin.

9. I hope she stays on the ticket

I dearly, dearly love what she's doing for this race, and she hasn't had a single interview or debate question yet.

11. they should have never picked her - but they did for fundie votes - they're stuck with them or they
risk upsetting the DOBSON nutbags. Dobson today said on his comedy show, Focus on the Family, that he is going to vote for McCain (cough cough, what about February James???) and that Sarah Palin is a "rising star who is burning in the political" spotlight and he's so excited and feels, "electric" for the first time since '80. They'll jump ship if they drop her, especially after giving their money up.

Even with all the scandals of firing people, lobbyists getting money for a tiny town that she hired, baby-daddy gate, and the biggie that may prevent her from having security clearance (Alaskan Independent Party membership she had years ago; they want to secede from the UNION!)

13. Yeah, she's on the ticket to stay
If we've learned nothing else from the past eight years, it's that these people are too unassailably arrogant to admit to their mistakes.

16. Really, I have to ask
Why is she still on the ticket? The woman is toxic...one revelation after another. Even NPR, which is usually limp in the knees these days, did a scathing report on her this afternoon. She is a terrific gift to our side, but why haven't the repukes jettisoned her? It's mind boggling.
