Last Week Here I Thought - Two Weeks before Palin was dropped from the ticket or resigned herself. I may have been way off by half! Today I read about the Abramoff connections with the earmarks - $20 some million, she got for her little Alaskan town from a lobbyist. That firm is connected to Abramhof and indicted Republican Senator Ted Stevens, who son worked for that firm.
But, now I'm thinking not only does Palin need to be dropped from the Republican ticket, they need to get McCain off the ticket before he does something realy dangerous.
McCain is out of touch with reality! He is not a maverick, he is a dangerous erratic bull running loose in the republican and national "china shops."
Nobody seems to be able to reign him in! Where's Barry Goldwater when we need him? He told Nixon the gig was up after the Watergate cover-up crimes.
Some high ranking, respected Republicn who has a relationship with McCain must go to him and give him the picture of reality! An intervention is needed here. It might go something like this:
"John, with all due respect, you know we love you, but, your behavior is causing you to lose the respect with the people who most care about you and is worrying us that you are out of control." As Randi Rhoades has said "John, we need to send you to Republican Rehab, now."
"If you make this decision to get the help you need, we will continue to support you to have a fruitful life in your later years. If not, you are on your own and we cannot rescue you from the consequences of your behavior. But, you can't continue as our candidate for President of the United States"
"You must give up this fetish you have with beauty queens. Your addiction is blindig you to reality and badly influencing your judgement and decision making."
"John, for the sake of the party and our beloved America, we cannot allow you to get control of the levers of the most powerful government and military on earth. We cannot risk it"
"Decide now John! We pray you make the right choice, right now. Make the right choice by putting your country first, John."
Love, Your Republican friends
