Running Scared McCain refuses opportunity to speak on CNN about the hurricanes

The initial reports from the vetters in Alaska has got them so spooked that they can't even let McCain speak on Anderson Cooper 360 even though they are showing him in the gulf.

They are scared and don't have a script.

They know that if he gets on a cable news show and repeats his idiotic "she's in the PTA" from Fox his whole campaign will crash.

They don't want him to speak until he is briefed on every possible scandal that he could be asked about.

Cooper said, "We gave the John McCain an opportunity to respond and he declined". It means that CNN is drawing a line - if you want to get prime exposure you have to give us a candidate and not a surrogate. McCain turns it down during their convention week because they are afraid of a question out of left field (or GDP).
