MSM and Cable News ignoring the RNC convention?
Edited on Sun Aug-31-08 04:19 PM by Cleita
Remember last week on Sat. and Sun. when all the prominent anchors were already in place in Denver bringing us shots of the sets going up, interviewing delegates that were arriving, and interviewing each other? None of that seems to be going on this weekend, just the usual scheduled shows like MTP. Maybe burn out from the DNC convention is keeping them home for some R&R until Monday, but it seems to me there is absolutely no excitement about this. Oh, I hope this continues through the next week. Whatever they do anyway other than performing a human sacrifice from on top of a pyramid will be anti-climatic.

1. Was just picturing in my mind the split screen tomorrow .....
Gustav Hurricane coverage on one side and a half empty republican convention floor on the other for however long they convene. What a contrast to the DNC convention this week past.

2. You're kidding right? CNN and Fox are both anchoring from
the Excel Energy center on my TV right now, and MSNBC is running another "crime thing".

3. Oh, all right, but did they on Saturday? I didn't see them.
Well, it seems a little late compared to all the coverage last weekend even if all they were doing at that pre-convention was talk about McCain most of the time.

4. There's nothing to cover. There's noBODY to cover because
nobody who is anybody is even gonna be there.

This just gets better every day.
