Attacking Palin, '06 edition

A reader sends over two negative ads targeting Palin from her governor's race less than two years ago.

Democrat Tony Knowles attacked her as having "little statewide experience and a weak command of the issues" (above) and cast her as a risky bet (below).

Palin won.

1. Does Knowles win anything? He lost to her and didn't he have a failed Senate race?
Are there no up and coming Democrats out there?

2. Alaska is one of the reddest of red states.
And people there just wanted the scandals to go away... Sarah seemed like a safe choice.
