1. I was just about to post the same thing...
Was this person even vetted at all? It seems like every hour there is more dirt coming out on her.

In the first one, she SUPPORTS the bridge to nowhere AND wanted Bush to set an exit strategy from Iran!

The second link has excerpts where she was interviewed about running for VP, Congress, etc. Her answers are HILARIOUS and sound as stupid as the SC Teen America contestant "...Alaska is not doing enough to help the United States...."

10. She only got the GOP spot to run for Governor because the other ...
.... 2 were crooks.

I almost betting on a "labor day surprise" w/ Palin getting out.

15. Just its origins.....
11. Are you offended by the phrase “Under God” in the Pledge of Allegiance? Why or why not?
SP: Not on your life. If it was good enough for the founding fathers, its good enough for me and I’ll fight in defense of our Pledge of Allegiance.

Um. You mean the founding fathers still around in 1954 when "Under God" was added to the Pledge? Wow, you Alaskans sure pick some sharp cookies to run your state.

Isn't there some investigation into a bunch of lawyers being fired because they wouldn't support Republicans? Hmmm, I think we see the Republican Platform, now.

VOTE FOR US OR WE'LL FIRE YOU!

13. I think she's going to end up off the ticket soon
It's going to be so embarrassing for the GOP and I can't wait for it to play out.

14. Here Are Your Talking Points
Edited on Sun Aug-31-08 11:48 AM by Crisco
She's kind of like the Republican answer to Eliot Spitzer - she means well, but naively engages in gross abuses of power. We've had 8 years of that!

She's not a Republican, she's an Enlightened Despot!

She doesn't govern so much as she reigns like a monarch.

She'd fit right in in the Bush administration - think Monica Goodling.

17. Almost recalled as mayor?
In case you're wondering what that means.

http://nl.newsbank.com/nl-search/we/Archives?p_product=AS&p_theme=as&p_action=search&p_maxdocs=200&p_topdoc=1&p_text_direct-0=0F79408854D0C20B&p_field_direct-0=document_id&p_perpage=10&p_sort=YMD_date:D&s_trackval=GooglePM

"A recall of Mayor Sarah Palin is off the table, at least for now, according to a group calling itself Concerned Citizens for Wasilla. The group of about 60 residents was formed Friday in response to Palin's controversial firing of Police Chief Irl Stambaugh. Members say they're concerned about the direction taken by Palin since her election last fall, and discussed a recall. But members of the group decided instead they first want to hear Palin's explanations"

I'm not sure this is the same thing as "almost recalled".
