Poll question: Veep Debate: "Biden was mean to Palin; a woman!"
Edited on Sun Aug-31-08 11:03 AM by IndianaGreen
Remember how the MSM punditry cried that Gore was being mean to Bush during the Presidential debates, and how they delighted in looping video of Gore rolling his eyes at Bush's idiotic comments? Prepare yourselves for a similar display of partisanship during the Veep debates. The punditry will pounce on Biden every time he challenges Palin's bizarre social views. Their collective cry will be "Biden was mean to Palin; a woman!"

The question is, do you think that the MSM and punditry will try to force Biden to debate Palin with one hand tied behind his back?

1. So a tough as nails, foul-mouthed animal killer = poor vulnerable woman?

Can't wait for them to reconcile that. Of course I have no doubt we will get plenty of 'teary-eyed' pics of Palin over the coming weeks to try to raise the sympathy level among women.

In a debate though, I have confidence Biden will be just fine.

2. Yes, but he still has a job to do, and better do it. No debating to the bottom of the class.

3. There's no reason to THINK it. The Corporate media
came out of the blocks with the DEMAND that she not be "bullied". To hell with that, it could be that she becomes President and then she'll have to stand up to more than vigorous and detailed debate of the issues with an opponent.

We need women BLASTING back at this entire concept.

4. Biden is smart & diplomatic: he will go after McCain, not Palin
She will just be the mouthpiece spewing McLame's talking points, but will not take the blunt of the criticism. That's how Biden will handle it, I predict.

9. I voted no, they want a spectacle.
The attacks on Biden will come after the debate, not before.

12. But she's a "rootin' tootin' maverick corruption fighter"! She can't handle a widdle debate? :(
Joe does need to watch out for this, for sure. The tiniest thing can be wildly misinterpreted and blown up into something insane and insulting to actual feminists.

13. Yes, but I think Biden is on message. Check out obama's new campaign ad.
It ignores Palin and goes right for McCain.
Biden will dodge going after her and keep hitting McCain. He'll hit her if she has to be, but carefully.
