while hearding the cows and cooking dinner for her kids, and running Alaska.....

Overconfidence and being distracted by Palin could be a dangerous thing. We should not go "there". Let her shoot herself in the foot, (with the gun she hunts endangered polar bears with)....let it come from her.

All I do know is that I am going to work my butt off to get Obama/Biden elected.

I will work my butt off to phone bank, canvass, and get voters registered.

If we do anything at all, we monitor "media matters" and email links, articles with valid, independent information to every talking head on the teevee.

:patriot:

:hi:

1. An I Got Mine Republican
Why be aware of anyone else's issues or the fact that other people are suffering if you got yours.

Sarah Palin is a dangerous inept radical. She left her town mired in debt after her Mayorship, she abused her power in Alaska and doesn't even have the respect of her local party members, and she's a anti-choice, pro-creationism, anti-health care extremist.

3. If you know that, then Obama Biden knows that. It will drip out in due time. In the
meantime, we need to work hard for out ticket.

8. I'm doing MY part
*cue Starship Troopers propoganda film*

Seriously though. Donated money, volunteering time. I'm doing my part. Everyone here who cares should do whatever they're capable of. Most people are capable of one the other or both.

7. I really appreciate your post and the OP as well. Focus on her experiences and actions
which do show her to be a dangerous radical.

2. Mike Murphy on Meet The Press said she's a "rootin' tootin' maverick corruption fighter".
This is seriously ridiculous.

4. I have a big worry, and it is this. That our side will become so overconfident, that
they will not see the need to go out and work hard for Obama/Biden.

It would be so easy to be dismissive of Sarah Palin......and the GOP is counting on the new voters being attracted to Obama to not have enough savvy to stay in the game and work for their candidate.

The GOP has always been better at "getting out the vote" ..... they really know how to do it.

She probably suffered from childhood starvation as well.

Annie played a wild west woman--she wasn't really.

11. Nothing but illusion and marketing - they marketed Bush as a human being
but we ended up with a chimpanzee. In 2000, the campaign didn't address the issues or how Bush would govern, only that he was a 'good ole boy', uniter-not-divider, compassionate conservative, which turned out to be flim-flam at its best. Palin is the shiny new and improved product.
