Palin's mother-in-law unsure who she'll vote for. "Being pro-life is who Sarah is."
Edited on Sun Aug-31-08 08:58 AM by PA Democrat
WASILLA, Alaska - Sarah Palin's hometown rallied around her as mayor - now Republicans wonder if the rest of America will warm up to the surprise pick from cold country.

Though her mother-in-law has doubts.

Faye Palin admitted she enjoys hearing Barack Obama speak, and still hasn't decided which way she'll vote.

"We don't agree on everything. But I respect her passion," she said. "Being pro-life is who Sarah is."

1. Why is it that the people who know McCain & Palin the best, won't vote for them?
Cindy's sister, Sarah's MIL...

Says a lot.

3. Ok this is really really stunning. Not supporting her own daughter?
Think of it this way: If Gramps/Garbo win, she just pissed off her daughter, the VP and maybe Pres. So, this pretty much means she doesn't expect her to win. Or, if she does think she'll win, she is so ashamed of her daughter, she wants to start distancing herself from her own daughter, the VP.

What kind of a leader can't even inspire her own mother?

4. In all fairness, it is her mother-in-law, BUT
makes you wonder doesn't it? The fact that her MIL would make such a statement to the press makes me believe that there is much much more below the surface.

6. Not "her own daughter"
She's a mother-in-law, which makes her statement perfectly understandable.

Good for her for wanting Obama!

9. Yeah, considering how Palin handles grudges, I'm sure that gathering will be VERY interesting.
