The Repukes are getting crazier and more desperate
I've been off DU for a few days, however, I have tried to watch the news regarding the Palin situation.

Is it me or has John McCain lost his mind? It's not so much as the quality of her experience (although of course it is sorely lacking), it is the extremist nature of her views.

I thought I heard Carville say on Larry King that this woman wants creationism taught in schools, rabid anti abortion even in cases of rape and incest, anti-environment to the trailer park extreme, anti-woman to the extreme, super fundamentalist, and on and on. Just about everything this woman believes in, I disagree with.

And JOHN MCCAIN, the so-called "maverick" and "moderate" choose this untested, unknown, extreme Christian fundamentalist as his running mate. Gee.

Ya know, I at least gave McCain a little respect because I did give him the benefit of the doubt on the whole "he loves his country" bit and patriotism. But I just can't see anyone who actually loves their country doing THIS to it. He doesn't put Country First, he is putting his damn campaign first and that really pisses me off.

He said he didn't know much about the economy. She said she doesn't know much about Iraq. People, we have quite possibly the WORST FUCKING DISASTER POSSIBLE in these two people. We have the dumb leading the dumb. Dumb and Dumber. These two idiots wouldn't be able to rely on each other if it meant their lives. What has the Republican party become? They are a total JOKE.

Can someone give me the rundown on the current situation with Palin. What is being said on the net about this. I don't have time to sift through 2 days of writeups.

1. Presidential elections need an "11 run rule".

3. In low-level baseball/softball games, they'll call the game if one side gets ahead by 11.

4. Are we ahead by 11 yet?
WHat are the polls saying?
