DU invaded by repuke trolls?
All I see is Palin bashing posts, and what I have noticed is that many are being posted by "new" posters, or repuke trolls!

As has been mentioned already, all the posts about real issues, problems, how great things went at the convention and posts about the hurricane that is heading towards NOL again, are being pushed off the page in a matter of minutes.

Com on people wise up. The repukes want us to talk about this day in and day out. They don't want us to discuss issues, or talk about McCain, they want us to trash the woman he picked to "use" as his VP. The more she is trashed here the more they can show people how hateful the democrats are. Aren't we better than they are? Do we have to sink to their level of hate?

It's pretty obvious that we have been invaded by repukes who want us to keep on attacking Palin. Lets show them we are better, lets start talking about things that really matter, not a VP choice that is not going to change things one damn bit in this election. The more we go after Palin, the more they will us it to show that we are afraid of her. Are we really afraid of this woman? I am not. This race is about John McCain, not his VP!

I have seen several cheerleading that we have to give it to them they way they did to us, not be naive, etc.

It's a bunch of trolls. Big time.

2. There must be a way to get the trolls. Hell, starting a fee for a signup or
something.

4. I would strongly advise people not to 'go there' with this baby thing.
There is no proof, only wild speculation. Don't give the 'pubs any bait for martyrdom.

7. I agree.
It's only a rumor, and without proof it only makes democrats look bad. This is what the republicans do all the time to democrats, I know we are better than they are, and we need to show them that we are.

8. Until there is more proof of what is out there, you are probably right. By now, I would imagine
that many people know about this. If there is truth to it, it may come out. Let it take its course.

10. Right on.
I would just hate to provide fodder for the hate radio gasbags if this turns out to be nothing more than a malicious rumor. I had a friend many years ago who hid a pregnancy until the end. Granted, she was a bit heavier than Gov. Palin, but it is possible.

5. Palin's lack of qualifications IS a reflection on McCain.
I have nothing to say about her other than she doesn't seem to be very qualified for the job. I think little McCain panicked when he couldn't get any qualified repubs to run with him and jumped at the first available candidate.

6. Point taken
1) I'll never forget Ted Kennedy's triumphant speech.
2) Hillary was at her best.
3) Bill Clinton cleaned up any lingering doubt.
4) John Kerry was a surprise hit and harder hitting than I have ever seen him.
5) President Obama

Plus the governor of Montana, Joe Biden, Senator Warner, Jesse Jackson, Jr. and this beat goes on!

The troll invasion began in earnest about the first of the year, and DU has not been the same since.

13. They are agents provocateurs.
Don't fall for it!

These are the same kind of slugs who tried to raise us rabble to commit acts of violence during my early years in civil rights, and anti Viet Nam rallies and marches. Dr King's warning, rooted in the ideas of Gandhi, and many in the labor movement, and other struggles, was to not take the bait.

They try to entice, and lead on regular DUers and we Dems on other forums, to make sexist attacks against Palin, then they can prove Obama supporters are sexist cretins. This gives them ammo to continue their divide and conquer plan.

Don't fall for it!

This is the same psy op technique the Reps uses with their phony PUMA campaign. They probably really did sucker a few people go along. Hopefully most of them will wake up to being used, and led off into the weeds.

14. I am an ex-DUer (since 03), who got fed up during the primaries, and came back TODAY
Precisely because of Palin, to talk about it, to see what others were thinking, and to get motivated.

I think she's a joke.

15. Paranoia
So-called repukes probably wouldn't bother to visit this site and post about McCain's choice for co-loser. Ever since I've been a member I've noticed the paranoid streak here on DU.

Varying issues topics set off extreme emotions in very different people. Last night a cousin I hadn't heard from in months called me to RANT -and I mean totally rant- about this vice-presidential choice of McCain's. BTW, cousin is a lifelong resident of Arizona and can't stomach McCain. I think the cynical pandering behind McCain's selection made many women super-angry!

Some of the threads FOR Palin are by suspect posters. None of the threads against her are by suspect posters.

You're making things up to suit your personal misapprehensions.

If there are GOP trolls here, they would be the ones saying "you can't talk about her like that."
