PICTURES!! from today's Obama/Biden Rally in Dublin, Ohio. (Dial-up Super Warning!!)
We left the house early to be sure that we would get in and get a good spot. We got there and were immediately greeting by volunteers directing traffic. They ushered us to one of three lines to enter the field. We were in line for about an hour and a half before they opened the gates. Everything went very smoothly despite some people fainting from the heat and excitement. I'm so glad that we left early because people were still filing in as the speakers were starting. It was the best rally I've ever attended. Everyone was so excited about seeing Obama, and there were jokes and sarcasm running through the crowd about McCain and especially Palin.

Obama and Biden arrived on time and the crowd was electric. I feel like I got my own little DNC right in my backyard. It was awesome!!!!

So, without further ado, here are some of the 60 pictures I took from today.

Pictures of the venue:

Senator Sherrod Brown:

Joe Biden:

Barack Obama:

And my favorite photo from the whole day:

4. Wow - GREAT shots!
It was funny watching it on the feed from Obama's site -- teeny little screen. Every once in a while people would start screaming, and I know that Obama was working his way onto the field (but couldn't see it).

How exciting for you! Thanks for posting these.

5. I was there!
I was a volunteer there today :) I agree, it was totally amazing! I worked most of the day in the hot sun, but the reward was great: a great view... and I got to shake Obama's hand! :)

only had about 4 pairs of shoes, IIRC. LOL

39. He really does.
At the risk of sounding silly and superficial, Obama always manages to look crisp and cool, no matter where he is, or what the temperature is. His shirts are always blindingly white and unwrinkled. How does he manage that?

I'm glad you enjoyed them.

The crowd was definitely fired up. They were doing the wave and chanting. They tried chanting during the speech a bit, but everyone got quiet while Obama was speaking. It was great to be there.

Have you ever noticed how so many Republicans have sour or mean facial expressions and Dems generally have pleasant demeanors? Seriously!

He's been running the big show all alone for more than a year, and he finally has someone who really does have his back.

45. I was very happy with Obama's choice of Biden.
Biden really took on the role of attack dog today hitting both Bush and McCain on the economy, foreign policy, and anything else he could get in there.

This has been one impressive campaign from the beginning.
