Don't tell me that McCain's age isn't relevant and open for discussion
Don't tell me that Palin's lack of experience (less than 2 years) isn't open for discussion
Don't tell me that McCain's houses and the fact that he doesn't know how many he owns isn't relevant or open for discussion.

There is nothing that should be off limits this year, NOTHING! They can't hide behind POW or Downs Syndrome, Race, Gender or any other card they want to play. We are talking about the future of the United States, our future, our children's future.

Unless you want your children and grandchildren to live in a fascist society we must be willing to discuss and do what ever it takes to help Obama and Biden win this election. This is the turning point in American history. Now or Never on taking back our rights and future.

Flame away!

1. No flames from me.
And I agree - NOTHING should be off-limits. If all's fair in love and war, then that applies to BOTH parties. We should consider WWRD: What Would republi-CONS Do? - and then maneuver strategically.

2. Oh I really agree with this
McCain's age has now become THE most important issue in this election. He is, after all, on his seventh decade of life, and death could come at any time. While this is true for us all of us, age makes the odds go against him.

It is not discriminatory, it is not ageism, it is a fact of life that an older, frailer, president has picked a young, woefully inexperienced woman as second in command. This is incredibly reckless and highly irresponsible and should be hammered daily, weekly, monthly, until the election.

3. I think, with his absurd VP pick, he's just put his age back on the table as a legitimate question.
He might not have intended that but, as his campaign likes to say, he's the one who opened the door.

4. Life expectancy - McCain is ten years over already
According to CRS Report for Congress in 2005, "Life Expectancy in the United States", Table A1.
For Yr 1935,

All races: both: 61.7, male: 59.9, female: 63.9
White: both: 62.9, male: 61.0, female: 65.0
Black: both 53.1, male: 51.3, female: 55.2

These numbers seem a little low to me but it's the only thing I could find that seemed to make sense.

I know it might seem cold to some but it's a reality on both tickets. Both have had health issues so it's a legitimate topic.
