** General Reacton to Palin thread ** what are you hearing around the water cooler?

Friends I have talked to who are not as obsessed as I am are telling me that the most common response they were getting was surprise and not in a good way. Even the conservatives admitted that it was pure desperation. More than one said that McCain panicked after the great week Obama had.

What are you hearing?

4. people at work (I work in a hospital) are not happy. One female co-worker

told me she thought that McCain was pandering to her with somebody totally unfit to be president.

5. I generally only know Dems. The Obama primary supporters are

generally unconcerned and find Palin a laughable choice. The Hillary primary supporters are all wringing their hands, saying we're doomed, because, even though they are voting Obama in the election, there are millions of Hillary supporters who will now vote for McCain because of Palin.
