Soccer Moms
You know what...I dont think most soccer moms can relate to a female VP candidate that was a former beauty queen, firmly believes in creationism, staunchly pro-life, and that photo of her handling that huge gun is going to reinforce the Rethugs as a war loving party. I think most middle america moms are going to see her as too extreme, unless they are already rethugs.

She helps with few independents and moderates, she simply reinforces the base.

1. We just have to get it out there that these are her views.

2. Hate to tell you this, as a self professed field hockey and wrestling
mom, not one woman I know identifies herself as a 'soccer mom'. Even if she is one.

3. I know they dont...
it's just a media catch phrase for a certain demographic. The demographic mclame is targeting.

So of the women you know that are soccer moms, do you feel that they would see her as too extreme?

4. I have a lot of friends here who are Republicans
And, every single one of them, without question, (that I've spoken to about this, obviously) is despondent about this pick. They see her as a complete unknown, no experience and now that the story about the possibility of the baby not actually being hers, but her daughter's is out, a completely disastrous choice by McCain.

Most of them have said they're going to sit the election out. Which is great for us.

5. As a former soccer mom
I can personally tell you that back in the days when I was driving my kids to and from swim meets, soccer games, little league and tennis the likes of Sarah Palin would have not appealed to me at all.

The only reason she's generating some positive buzz is because women don't know about her yet. :puke:
