Thank you, Hillary
Yes, thank you for your gracious statement about Governor Palin. I know that you probably wanted to hit her hard after that crack about your hard work being what allows her to slide in on your coattails.

You kept your cool and did exactly what Barack needed you to do.

See, Barack knows how the blogosphere and the media work. Barack knows he doesn't need to do anything. Barack's people already did their Oppo on this choice for Veep, and they found her lacking. I can only imagine Axlerod laughing like a gleeful child upon hearing the choice.

So sit back, relax, enjoy the show. Grampa picked a game changer. Grampa is playing chess and he just moved his queen into a position where a mere pawn will capture her. IT's not a trap. It's not even a hope that capturing that queen with the pawn will do Grampa any good in this game. It was just a boneheaded move.

It's mate in 2 (months that is).

Enjoy.

1. Exactly. Hillary was classy but was probably laughing at the choice.

4. "You dumb ass misogynistic prick, you don't even realize that you just
insulted all 18 million of my supporters, do you."

--Hillary Clinton's first thought when hearing of the Palin choice.

2. What Did She Say?
I missed it.

I still don't think we should underestimate McCain/Palin. I'm not fretting and wringing my hands, but I don't think we should assume victory is assured.

3. Here it is verbatim
“We should all be proud of Governor Sarah Palin's historic nomination, and I congratulate her and Senator McCain. While their policies would take America in the wrong direction, Governor Palin will add an important new voice to the debate.”
