Also, anyone who thinks that trying to get your dirtbag ex brother-in-law fired needs a reality check.

Right now I think she is the perfect represent ive for our American Idol culture.

1. As we speak, there are millions of Americans ...
... out of work and uninsured; their savings are gone and their homes are being foreclosed on. They know they are living one medical emergency away from living on welfare or living in a cardboard box in an alley.

If you think these people are living in the American Idol culture, you might want to reconsider the narrow perspective afforded by that head-up-your-ass position you've adopted.

7. A one-time event that took the indeaftable British Empire ...
... by surprise, because they all assumed the colonials were too busy watching "American Idol" to notice anything else.

Your dismissive attitude towards your fellow citizens who are really hurting, along with their willingness to stand and fight, is as insightful as it is commendable.

:sarcasm:

3. Oh, balls.
Reagan may have been appealling, but he was elected because he said he'd lower taxes. Of course positions matter.

6. You doubt the strength and wisdom demonstrated by Obama/Biden?

For every dissaffected Hillary voter or ultra-fundamentalist they may score with Palin, there will be 2 undecided voters who break our way because they realize, with remarkable clarity, that John McCain would risk the leadership of America on a gamble to win the election.

And that, my friend, is not a campaign issue. That is a direct HIT on a failing of John McCain's character and judgment.

8. True, Look At George Buah - Americans Were Convinced His Poor Grammar
...and stubborness were endearing. I guess we will be convinced that Palin's views on global warming, the oil industry and abortion are cute. Kiss Rove v. Wade and environmental protections good bye.
