2. Ain't gonna be that easy
So a bunch of con artists, thieves, murderers and assorted rogues of every stripe are also beholden to a spy in the Pentagon? Next you'll tell me that Charles Manson once got a parking ticket.

This bunch has no scruples, no conscience, no morals, no nothing. We're going to have to pry the levers of power out of their greedy, grasping hands, maybe with the assistance of a ball peen hammer.

They're not going to give up easily. So let's take the fight right to them. Outraged by the spy in the Pentagon? Write a letter to your local paper. Tell 'em that this sort of slip-shod security is exactly what caused the 9/11 attacks, and in three years since then, the corrupt Bush administration hasn't learned a goddam thing.

That should do for starters.

Israel broke Iranian Code-Sy Hersh)
http://www.jpost.com/servlet/Satellite?pagename=JPost/JPArticle/ShowFull&cid=1078208269063

According to the report, Israeli intelligence has created strong ties in Iran over the year, some of which exist till today. Hersh writes that the investigation by the International Atomic Energy Agency (I.A.E.A.) into Iranian nuclear capability was spurred by Israeli intelligence findings which were relayed to the atomic agency via the National Council of Resistance of Iran

Then, remember Challabi told Iran that US had broken the code.

23. It won't matter.
Iraq is Bush's mess, and if there's evidence that his Iraq policy advisers were influenced by Israeli operatives, it will only reflect poorly on him.

No one can really accuse Clinton of being a stooge for PNAC. Bush has really left himself open to that charge.

Of course it is huge. But don't be surprised if Bush / Rove pin it on Clinton or do some dirty tricks again.

Maintain focus. It is not over until Kerry is inaugurated.

Furthermore, even if this "guaranteed" a five point Kerry win, don't give up the struggle. A six point or 10 point Kerry win would be even more useful. Give Kerry coat-tails and take back the Senate.

FBI Suspects Israel Has Mole in Pentagon -- CBS

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The FBI (news - web sites) believes Israel has a spy at the very highest level of the Pentagon (news - web sites) who may have sought to influence U.S. policy on Iran and Iraq (news - web sites), CBS News reported on Friday.

The Israeli embassy immediately denied the report.

"The FBI has a full-fledged espionage investigation under way and is about to ... roll up someone agents believe has been spying, not for an enemy, but for Israel, from within the office of the secretary of defense (Donald Rumsfeld)," the network reported.

CBS News said the FBI believed it had solid evidence the suspected mole supplied Israel with classified material that included secret White House deliberations on Iran.

The network described the spy as "a trusted analyst" assigned to a unit within the defense department tasked with helping develop the Pentagon's Iraq policy.

Plame? Yellow Cake Uranium? Halliburton? etc. etc. etc. Sad, but true. Unless the spy was gay and having an affair with an elected official, then it won't do a thing to Bush, aka The Teflon Moron.

From June 17:
You may have noticed a slight down-tick in the frequency of posts of late. And that’s for a few different reasons. But a principal one is that I and several colleagues have been working on a story that, if and when it comes to fruition --- and I’m confident it shall --- should shuffle the tectonic plates under that capital city where I normally hang my hat. So that’s something to look forward to in the not too distant future. And that’s taken some of my time away from TPM and prevented me from sharing with you some delectable tidbits which otherwise I would have loved to have done.

40. What about the connection to the forged document
Remember this?

http://www.thenation.com/doc.mhtml%3Fi=20030707&s=dreyfuss

According to the former official, also feeding information to the Office of Special Plans was a secret, rump unit established last year in the office of Prime Minister Ariel Sharon of Israel. This unit, which paralleled Shulsky's--and which has not previously been reported--prepared intelligence reports on Iraq in English (not Hebrew) and forwarded them to the Office of Special Plans. It was created in Sharon's office, not inside Israel's Mossad intelligence service, because the Mossad--which prides itself on extreme professionalism--had views closer to the CIA's, not the Pentagon's, on Iraq. This secretive unit, and not the Mossad, may well have been the source of the forged documents purporting to show that Iraq tried to purchase yellowcake uranium for weapons from Niger in West Africa, according to the former official.

an analyst for the Pentagon (news - web sites)'s No. 3 official acted as a spy for Israel, giving the Jewish state classified materials about secret White House deliberations on Iran, two federal law enforcement officials said Friday.
Oh, this is great. If this is true, why are the Jews spying on us? Aren't they suppose to be our trust worthy buddys?
