Because of the impending Thug Convention, the news has--dare I say it?--shifted away from the Smearboat Pukes (or at least started to). All the reports I've seen today and yesterday focused on the protesters that are gathering at the convention.

I don't know, but I think the Smearboat Pukes for Rove are finally dying a long, painful death.

1. I hope that the Swift Boat Vets thing is dying.

It was a stupid thing for those idiots to bring up in the first place.

I've been trying to stay away from reading/hearing/seeing anything from the Swiftboat thugs since Monday. Like Mike Malloy said, they're on their 16th minute of fame.

2. Mission: Accomplished

Kerry lost a little ground in the polls. Some of the shit lies
stuck. The smear was losing ground and every time they had a
smear boat guy on TV with someone reputable, the smear boat guys
lost. Hence the call to pull the plug on the whole thing by
* yesterday. And the corporate whore media is falling in line.
No more slime (except for a parting fart by Novacula today).

It's amazing how quickly the entire cable and broadcast media
drops a story and is on to the next one IN UNISON! I mean,
who was that pregnant woman that was killed by her husband, no,
not Laci, the other one? See what I mean. Dropped. Just as
soon as it had served its purpose. Same with the not so swift
boats.

I don't think we'll see any more ads or anything from them, it
will be on to the NEXT lie about Kerry or Edwards now.
