picking up the kids on 9/11
I don't know if this has been answered here but what's up with that weird commercial about what kid to pick up on 9/11? It has the weirdest affect to it. What are they trying to say?

1. It was discussed a few weeks ago
but everyone was pretty creeped out by it. At one point even Pickles looks at him like he is insane.

2. I know. Where were these so-called stranded kids on 9/11?
It was a completely strange and creepy ad. Were all the kids on Wall Street, so the parents couldn't go pick them up? Who was faced with that choice?

3. There is a big residential development in downtown NYC
near the WTC, called Battery Park City. I'm not sure that kids has a chance to get off to school/daycare that morning, but it is conceivable.

It is a pretty ridiculous commercial though. Does that guy EVER make any sense?

4. Wouldn't Bush and his buddies just send "the car" for them?
Every * ad I've seen has been awful. So cheesey and just plain old dumb. As a whole, republicans are about as creative as a wet towel.
