Why have things treaded the other way in the polls?
Are we even going to get our momentum back for the election? Why do I have this sinking feeling that bush will get momentum after this fucking 3 ring circus? I don't want to have a bad future. I am pretty sure I will if Bush gets re-(s)elected.

1. Conversation with a very brilliant guy last week
I was so angry with him I could hardly stand it, however sometimes
I wonder if he's not right. He said America needs another four
years of Bush, for the country to really realize what these people
stand for. The American people are so apathetic about anything
that does not touch them personally, they need to be touched and
Bush will indeed get around to most everyone in four more years.
He feels a revolution of sorts is the only thing that will change
the corrupt political system which now controls our country. Both
the politicians and the voters need a real wake up call. The close race we are now in makes me wonder if he's not correct. How could
so many be so uninformed that they would even consider voting for
Bush again?

I've also considered this mess Bush has gotten us in and how in the
world can John Kerry clean it up in four short years? The American
people are so short sighted if everything isn't rosy after his
first term, they'll vote in Jeb or his ilk to replace him.

I want Kerry to win with all my heart but I wonder if that will
help or hurt our country in the long run. Personally, I don't think
I can handle another Bush term.

3. I actually can agree with you.
The only issue I have is that none of this is my fault. I don't feel like I should be affected by this. I didn't vote for him in 2000, I voted for Gore. I vehemently disagreed with the Iraq war and the way it was handled. I am fighting and volunteering and will be voting for Kerry this year. I shouldn't have to pay because half the country is stupid.

4. I've been thinking this too...the expansion/contraction theory
As much as I hate to say it, it may be true. Perhaps it's even necessary. Before I get flamed, let me explain...

The two factions in this country are so polarized against each other that sometimes, I worry more about that than who wins.

That's when I think that maybe things need to keep expanding (four more years of *) until they snap and contract back again. And people will be united, for peace, unity, and the minimization of human suffering.

But will it be too late? For our earth? For our animals, our plants, our people?

So taking it to the extreme, which is worse? The 'brother against brother' scenario? Or four more years?

5. Yes but if they haven't figured it out now, they won't.
They don't care about human suffering. They don't care about anything but themselves. If you believe that they must be educated, it would be very expensive. And that is not a bill that I want to pay. The price may mean the end of America as we know it. As in the end of Democracy.

2. You're going to see the poll #'s swing up and down for both
candidates all the way to Nov. 2nd. I also think the media (don't lie, but) analize the poll results to produce a close election result. If it was a run away this soon, they'd lose their audience, and the hugh advertising dollars from both campaigns.

Keep fighting for Kerry, but don't get too excited about the daily polls.
