We need to prepare to rip Bush on 911 after he exploits it at the RNC.
They are lying about Kerry because "he made an issue of his military service" at the DN Convention.

We need to return the fire folks. I hope the Dems are gearing up ads as we speak ... that attack Bush's PERCEIVED strength on terrorism.

We need to show him for the ignorant/arrogant oaf he is. Our ads need to be *scathing/controversial* enough to retain some credibility yet gain media attention.

What do you think is in the works? Are we prepared?

3. 9/11 happened on his watch.
Clarke tried to warn him from day one. Bush wouldn't meet with him until September, a week before the attacks. By then it was too late.

Even before 9/11, Bush was driven by a desire to occupy Iraq; so much so that it blinded him to the threat posed by al Qaeda.

4. Just remind others
Bush ingored a warning that bin Laden was planning to attack New York and Washington and blow up buildings and/or hijack planes.

How much clearer does something need to be before he acts on it? Should his briefings include illustrations in case he doesn't want to read memo or have them read to him?

5. "BUSH: AWOL ON 9/11"
bumpersticker available on www.notbannedyet.com

You could also say: BUSH: AWOL IN 1972, AWOL ON 9/11
