The John Kerry/George Bush who-did-what-when-in-the-military-and-what-did-they-get-for-it debate has about made me reach for the bottle.
No, not that bottle, but rather the one full of whatever can be taken for an upset stomach, because all of this stuff makes me want to throw up.
While military service may have been a legitimate issue for discussion, by now the incidents and facts surrounding the service of the two men have been so twisted and distorted that to consider any new piece of information significant is suspect at best.

Kerry protested against the war in Vietnam when he got back; Bush protested the lack of imported beer available in Alabama.
Kerry traded away his uniform for a coat and tie and became a senator; Bush traded away Sammy Sosa and the Texas Rangers are still in the gutter reaching for the curb.
