Overhead pic showing aWol's podium notes
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/040826/480/nmpm12208262204

Never never ever have seen a pic of Chimpy's notes, what he reads line for line as his personal thoughts so I thought this was some kind of news.

As I said five months ago, I think Kerry should announce he does NOT read speeches that someone else wrote. "Firstly I write my own speeches and secondly I memorize them and speack from my heart and brain."

Everyone who really knows what kind of disgrace aWol is knows this would be the end of him. He's too stupid to write a college paper, which I believe he never did. aWol cheated h is way through college. Where are the "College Professors for Truth"?

1. Extra-large type
Suitable to his reading level.

13. This is a non-issue
Most politicians use large type just like that when they speak from a podium. Makes it easier to read so they don't have to squint or put on their reading glasses.

They also frequently have their speechwriters (and don't be fooled - they all have them) print the speech only halfway down the page - that way, they don't have to move their head down while they're reading. If the speech goes to the bottom of the page, their chins end up practically in their chest as they read down to the bottom. This way, they can keep their heads up.

We have plenty of things to go after W about - this isn't one of them. He's not doing anything different than most politicians do.

15. I couldn't care less
If I want to attack him over the size of his font, I will. If I want to attack his suits, his boots, his hair style, I will. Perhaps I am French, like Kerry. But I just don't care about what's correct and incorrect to jab at this chimp over.

9. Have you ever seen Byrd speaking on CSPAN ?
Edited on Fri Aug-27-04 10:19 AM by Myrina
Granted he's pushing 90 but I'm guessing his text is in 36 pt font from the times I've seen him step away from the podium and wave his notes at the gallery or shuffle his pages in mid-speech.

Does that make him an idiot ? I think not.

10. I just checked to see what size that type is . . .
. . . assuming that the pages are 8.5" x 11" — that font is at least 50 points in size. What a moran.

11. Bush actually wears glasses, but he doesn't want to do that in public.
Edited on Fri Aug-27-04 10:31 AM by Zynx
Everything he does is done with what the picture looks like in mind. He is the Photo-Op President. His school photo-op was so important on 9/11 that he wouldn't do his job after the first plane hit or after the second plane hit.

3. The won't let him use free speech.
Can you imagine what it would be like if they let Georgie Boy speak freely? It would really show up his half baked paranoid brain!

6. They won't let him use free speech
AND he still CAN'T get it right! Maybe he would like my seven-year-old granddaughter to come up and read it for him. She is an excellent reader.

I'm starting to think that Rove might have to resort to W lip syncing the acceptance speech like a lot of musicians do in concert. Only way Rove can be sure that Bush won't inadvertently declare war on England, make up any new words or forget what he is doing and leaves to play a round of golf.

8. Never mind...
I certainly wouldn't expose my darling granddaughter to the ills and ilk that will be in that convention hall that night. Nobody has to suffer that much for their country.

22. Your darling granddaughter must be precious!
And unfortunately we are all suffering already a great deal for the sins that Bush has committed on our country.
1.Dismantling of democracy.
2.Forget about honest and open elections.
3.Freedom of speech does anyone know what that is anymore?
4.Lies, distortions. The end justifies the mean means.
How these railroad/social scaler/war profiteers/munitions lords/nazi supporters/evil/ignoramus generation of bushes can call themselves honorable is beyond me.
Your little granddaughter doesn't deserve to be expose to them at the republican convention...And she and 'Murricach don't deserve to have to live under the iron fisted/jack booted bushes.

5. I think in more 'regular' or 'important' places/readings including news
conferences, I think the podium has a flat panel screen built in and a team of repukes are sending aWol text telling him how to answer questions.

7. Never thought of that.
We need to make sure he doesn't get his answers fed to him in a debate (unless Kerry can somehow dramatically expose the little cheat in front of millions of people.)

14. The Presidential podium doesn't have a screen built into it
Edited on Fri Aug-27-04 10:43 AM by mbali
And that podium won't be used during debates. The podiums will be provided by the debate hosts.

You're correct, dARKeR!

Back in the day, people like George W. hired people like me to take their SATs (not that I would've done that).

All you needed was a Social Security card to get past the proctors.
