Why are we being told that Kerry is being hurt by the Swiftlies...
...yet apparently the 130 Million in box-office sales, the cheering audiences, and the very REAL video footage of Fahrenheit 911 apparently has had no effect on the polls..or at least we're told!! How about Al Franken's "Lies" which was #1 for weeks? Why does a book released by some bitter Republicans apparently has an effect? Could it be the media is simply propping the Swiftlies up 24/7 and they assume Americans will believe the polls because of all the press? Where was the press when F911 was out?! Where was the press on Franken's book?!!

The myth of the liberal media dies every day!

1. "Day to Day" on NPR was saying this yesterday.
I couldn't believe my ears when I heard that clown from DTD saying the SBVT was hurting Kerry.

5. TV reaches MORE voters than any film, book
TV plops ideas into the mind of many millions more, and lots of idependents who would not trouble to read some book or go to a film they have little agreement with.

TV spoon feeds , and does it to millions. So does radio... Limbaugh pours poison into their ears 15 hours a week, nonstop for over ten years. He tills the grassroots, and campaigns are just the harvesttime.

that's why we need AA, and need it subsidized by aflcio and the DNC.

3. Yesterday Judy Woodruff kept repeating that myth (Swifties hurt Kerry!)
and then happened to sneak in that in a GALLUP poll of likely voters Kerry had a lead....
The bias of certain media outlets (CNN, USA Today) is outrageous.

4. We obviously don't know wtf it is but
--if one were to believe the polls (and if we don't why bring them up so much)---something is hurting Kerry.

7. It is a self fufilling prophecy
And it probably does have some truth to it; the smears probably did hurt Kerry a little. That's what smears do. But of course claiming they hurt him more than they really did just pads the score.
