Why does Thomas Udall from NM look like Brian Williams?

Thomas does look a bit like Brian.



I heard Morris Udall speak on my college campus in 1976. I was sure he was the man to fight for the little guy over Big Oil and other big corporations. I was crazy about him, and cried my EYES out (and wouldn't come out of my room) when he lost the nomination to Jimmy Carter.

While I've loved many a Democratic politician since then, I no longer truly give my heart, because I'm so often disappointed (hello? Bill Clinton, John Edwards ... the list goes on and on ...)

But I still get misty when I think of Mo. Looking at his sons, or nephew Thomas, I get misty all over again.
