URGENT ALERT: Is AT&T funding ANTI-OBAMA group?

While AT&T condemns bashing OBAMA, I think it is important that it demands a refund. They can't have it both ways. If they are funding this group and this group is linked to a website bashing Obama, they need to be held accountable.

He said his organization has raised about $40,000 this year. JOHN COX , who has run for U.S. Senate in Illinois, gave at least $2,000 to help with start-up costs, according to Blankenship. He said he doesn't plan on paying himself more than $3,000 per month until the organization is "rolling," and corporate sponsors also are being sought, with AT&T among contributors.

Blankenship said the truth squad is something he is doing personally, and it is not connected to the Illinois Policy Institute.

"In no way does AT&T condone, endorse or agree with the attacks being launched against Mr. Obama by this truth squad organization," said BRENDAN REILLY , vice president of public relations for the five-state AT&T region.
