They're going to do it.
The usual GOP October ritual of kissing OxyRush's ass to solidify the wingnut base.
Yesterday, when discussing whether Obama was in St. Louis or Kansas City, the thrice-divorced GOP "family values" commentator had this to say:
"The good news about all this, folks, is that Obama was broadcasting from a stranger's house and not a relative's hut. (laughing) I mean, you have to find the positives in all of this. It's not looking good."
and here was Viagra Boy cheering on the Bradley effect:
"Dare I say it, the Wilder Effect, dare I say it, the Bradley Effect? Psst -- listen to me. If he's not up ten, 15 points a week before the election, they're toast."
And let's not forget his refeering to Obama as a "Halfrican." Or his regular bits like playing a song called "Barack, The Magic Negro," done by a comedian trying to do an Al Sharpton impression. Rush hides behind the fact that the title comes from an LA Times column, but, let's be clear, Rush was just looking for a green light to use that kind of attack.
When McCain or Romney or whoever he picks to fill out his lame ticket goes on Rush's show, it's an endorsement of this kind of bigotry and we should be ready to call them on it.
