Ever notice Kerry's life is like one big Oliver Stone movie?
Edited on Fri Aug-27-04 01:38 AM by Bombtrack
Growing up idolizing the first JFK, another JFK becomes the next Massachusetts senator to be nominated for a major party ticket for President(reminiscent of JFK) but along the way is a prep school rich kid who Volunteers to go to Vietnam (reminiscent of both Oliver Stone's life and of Charlie Sheen's character in Platoon who was based on Stone), comes back and becomes a leader in the anti-war movement (reminiscent of Borne on the 4th of July), get's on Nixon's enemy list (reminiscent of Nixon), going to the senate and exposing the illegal wars and drug trafficking and arms trading matrix of BCCI and what not (reminiscent somewhat of Salvador and Scarface) and then running for President as the Navy Hero Massachusetts senator named JFK with your old Nixon CREEPS coming back to smear you for a second time.

1. I agree, Kerry's life is a lot like a movie,
especially an Oliver Stone movie.

The $60,000 question is "who plays Kerry?"

5. His life sure as hell is interesting
Yeah I read that in tour of duty about Platoon, in fact Stone and Kerry both agree that Kerry's entrance to Vietnam was much how Charlie Sheen's character was.

6. Kerry Would Be Like Willem Dafoe's Character and
John O'Neil would be like Tom Berenger's character...

7. Sorry, I like Kerry, but Elias was one of the coolest characters ever
Kerry aint that cool. Kerry is Chris(Charlie Sheen) in that movie. And John O'Neil not Tom Berenger's character. Berenger was bad, but he was no Bud Bundy-looking lacky suckup.
