Bush on Training Dogs: I Call Mine John McCain
Edited on Wed Aug-27-08 01:33 PM by smartvoter
Does anyone remember that quote by about Bush, when he said he learned that virtually any dog can be trained, and "I call mine John McCain," shortly after the 2004 election?

I Googled it without much success -- I may have the quote a little off (could be "named" instead or something like that), but I do remember hearing it on NPR and discussing it with friends who also heard it. I would think the Obama camp could have some fun with that one if this is how things are going to be played.

Do you remember if it had anything to do with his dog barney? Was it at an animal shelter? The color of a dog? Anything more?
