5. That's good, but it should be higher. I don't trust these polls anymore.
I don't know anyone who's excited about McCondo. So far, I've only seen ONE bumper sticker for him which PALES to the number of Obama stickers I've seen.

so where are the pollsters hiding these people that love McCondo so much??

7. It IS higher. And in THIS poll, watch for Obama's lead to grow much more due to
both Michelle Obama's speech (complete with her kids talking to their daddy) and Hillary's speech.

i think outside of the rural appalachia and southern problem that obama has...where many (not all) white voters will not support the black guy no matter what...the media narrative a close race is made up. part of the election theft strategy is vote rigging right? just about everyone is aware of the electronic voting machine mess that is going to be used in this election in mccain's favor. but the only way they can steal it is if the margin in the polls is narrow. by all accounts (even republican accounts) obama is trouncing mccain. it isn't even close. i haven't seen a single mccain bumper sticker or lawn sign in north carolina. i know a few die hard old school repubs who are sticking with mccain, but that's about it. so what's with the polls? why do they show a close race? only thing i can think of is skewed polling (not saying its a deliberate conspiracy). just that polling methods for some reason skew to the right. maybe because they cut out a lot of young people who do not have land lines...maybe because they make an effort to poll equal numbers of dems and repubs (even if that isn't representative of the real distribution among voters)...who knows...i'm not a pollster. but what i see in the media reports and what i see on the street doesn't match.

so...what this narrative does for the media is allow them to justify skewed poll results by attributing what should be an obvious incrongruity between polls and reality to some elusive cohort of hillary supporters who have 'switched' to mccain. this will allow them to keep the poll margins within the range of election theft come november. they can't steal it if the margin goes beyond about 5%. so they have to maintain the neck-to-neck myth.

beware the polls is all i'm saying. beware the dubious explanations including the disgruntled hillary line. trust the people you talk to...trust what you see on the street...not on the screen. and the only poll that matters is the exit poll.

18. YES YES YES! And I'm sure Hillary's excellent speech will give him a bigger lead.
I expect good things from Bill, Joe, and Barack as well.

It's gonna be a good week for us.

19. There's something about weekends.
Could it be that large numbers of the 18-34 age group are not home to answer the phone on weekends? Back to campus time?
