Trapped @ work, need some help
How are the reviews, outside of Democrats, of Hillary's performance last night?

1. Michael Bechsler... commentator on PBS ( I think) said...
... she should have been much more effusive in her praise of the nominee. And what praise she gave him was "generic." He was underwhelmed.

Not sure what his bias is.

2. Well it's unanimous on Fox she didn't really endorse
Obama she just said he was the better of two evils.

7. wow, that sucks cause i agree with them
i kinda feel that she made the lesser than argument myself. i still think it was a great speech though and she accomplished everything she needed to do.

Since i agree with fox i better rethink it.

3. Not without criticism, but generally positive.
There are, of course, those picking it apart and pointing out things she should have said, or calling it flat.

Absolute crap, but not surprising.

Level headed commentary is more honest, she hit all the high points, she nailed it, she showed her sincere support, anyone who didn't hear her message didn't want to hear it.

That's the general attitude across the broad range of the media.

5. David Gergen thought she did a great job - he's one of the fairest 'outsiders' I've heard.

Generally though, the pundits are doing their best to make viewers believe there is high anxiety and contention within the party.

You didn't ask for my opinion but I don't think Hillary needed to get gushy about Obama; her audience was not the general public. Her job was to give a speech aimed at bringing her supporters and all Democrats together and she delivered.
