Who do you want as Obama surrogates?
Edited on Wed Aug-27-08 08:39 AM by aaroh
ok obama's current crop of surrogates are lame ducks, they're just not hitting mccain hard enough and sending home the bacon. If I was Obama I'd start off with a new clean slate of surrogates. I'd hire the following attack dogs:

Hillary Clinton
James Carville
Wesley Clark
Joe Biden (hired)
Brian Schweitzer
Al Gore

I'd give them all a new set of talking points every day, assign them to different news networks and unleash those mofos.

1. Carville can sit and spin with his Neocon wife and faux support.

The others...I guess Hillary needs a job.

3. NOT Hillary or Carville..
Sorry. I know today we're supposed to be fawning all over Hillary, and yes she did a good job last night. But I'm still not convinced that her heart is in it. I'm just not, and I think she'll be more of a distraction/temptation to the media.

And Carville's heart DEFINITELY isn't in it and he's only good at being an attack dog for the Clinton's and nobody else.

16. Another vote for Dennis
We need someone to set some fires - he's so passionate and enthusiastic. Politics should not be a spectator sport. He's great :toast:.

11. I love Clark but he's just not very good at attacking-- the MSM hate him too.
Carville is obviously going the Howard Wolfson route and is this close to shilling for Fox News and the GOP. Al Gore is best as a neutral statesman because of his global warming crusade, which needs to be bipartisan. I agree with Hillary and Schweitzer though.

There is Kerry, Richardson, McCaskill, Wexler, etc. Out of your list. I prefer Al Gore. No Carville.
