NEED HELP (again!) MoveOnPAC versus SB Liars 527

MoveOn alos has a 527; and PACs and "shadowy groups" 527s are 2 different kettle of fish...

But the ads bushCartel whined at Kerry to denounce, were they MoveOn PAC or a MoveOn 527?

And does anyone have a "would even satisfy a rightwingnut that it's FACT" link to what the differences are between PACs and 527s?

My googling isn't coming up with the direct info I need *whine* :D

I did include the MoveOn PAC info, but I *know* I saw a ton of "MoveOn PAC vs SB Liars 527" stuff posted on Atrios and DKOS and all over the place...do you think I can find them now tho???

Have you wondered what the difference is between MoveOn and Swift Boat Veterans for Bush?
Bush wants to get rid of all ads from 527 groups. Does he really want what he is asking for?
It is already illegal for a 527 organization to engage in partisian politics. I think that is what McCain was complaining about the FEC not enforcing the law.

This was taken off the Moveon website. It explains which tax category the three different parts of MoveOn fall under. The MoveOn TV ads about Bush are from MoveOn PAC which is not a 527 organization.
