I thought it was a very well structured speech. She accomplished several things in my opinion, she recognized the hard work of her supporters, but gave reasons for why that support, and that hard work should now be transferred to Obama, she also drew the contrasts with McCain well, on specific issues that resonate with ,I would think, the majority of democrats and many independents/.
Specifically, she talked about the people involved in her campaign, the cancer victim, the army soldier, the struggling young child. She raised these people as pillars of support for her campaign, and then she spun it around beautifully and said 'do you continue to support THEM, do you continue to support helping to allieviate the plight of these people? Wasn't it the plight of people like these and people like YOU that it that drew you to "me" in the first place and if so, you know who is offering THEM and you a better future in this election, Barack Obama'. This had the dual role of reminding her supporters of the fight they HAD gone through and what they should CONTINUE to go through but behind Obama's banner now.
She drew the contrasts well with McCain, on the issue of healthcare (and although Obama and hillary have disagreements there I think the implication to her supporters is that it will be easier to move Obama to that goal than it will be for McCAin and that should be another reason to throw your support to him). She also did an excellent job of putting up what we (as democrats) want to do and juxtaposing it directly against McCain, with excellent audience interaction as well (No!) And the twin cities line will be a nice condensation sound bite to be used in ads and on the teevee replays, all in all I liked it.
