A Working Chief Executive
A Kerry presidency means the return of a working chief executive, one who pays attention to the details of his job. Things won't fall through the cracks because of executive inattention, as they've done repeatedly during the Bush years.

Some outcomes of Bush's inattention have been tragic. Other failures have been less severe, despite how painful they've been to the victims immediately affected. The Bush years will be studied as examples of what can happen when the president is asleep at the switch. Years from now, when some other political party contemplates nominating a lazy clown like Bush, historians will recall our times.
