1. They might be leaving the big lines for Obama.
Which would make perfect sense.

8. I have no doubt Obama will slam McCain. But this was advertised as if many of the

2. You didn't hear Kathleen Sibelius?
She was all over it -- "There's no place like a home, and a home, and a home and a home..."

6. No. I'm DVRing C-Span and now watching MSNBC to see what most people will be watching
and hearing reports about. I bet nobody will hear ANYTHING about Sibelius or what she said, sadly. But I'll watch it later. Thanks for the info.

3. I heard Sebelius making a joke about McCain's houses during her speech.

Can't remember what it was, though.

On edit: Thanks, ocelot ... now I remember!

4. Did MSNBC cover Kucinich's speech? Their talking heads were
just going on about how nobody is really hammering the rePukes...didn't Dennis speak earlier?
I'm guessing he was ignored as usual by the M$M

15. Yeah ... Dennis was jumping around like a jumping bean ... gesticulating ...
... yelling "WAKE UP, AMERICA!" ... international corporations have hijacked our trade policy ... wake up America! ... etc.

5. Yeah, I'm getting very frustrated
Edited on Tue Aug-26-08 09:22 PM by BattyDem
No one's hitting McCain. They've got a national audience and they're playing nice. That was fine last night, but why give McCain a pass for a second night? Yes .. many speakers talked about having "more of the same with McCain" but no one is nailing him on anything! :-(

On edit: I did see Sebelius and Kucinich was great, but Casey and Warner should have been a lot tougher ... especially Warner. I hope Hillary brings out the big guns.

12. The reports are that Hillary will be "statesmanlike" towards McCain, but "point out their
differences" and "stress why people MUST vote for Obama if they liked her.

9. Sorry, but are you listening?
McCain's houses has been mentioned several times. And Patrick just did an excellent job of linking McCain to Bush.

13. I'm watching the MSM and recording C-Span. I want to see what the majority of "low-information
voters" will most likely see and hear about.

17. That's the problem. What you (and most other people who CARE are hearing)
are hearing will not be covered in the MSM.

Sibelius or Patrick.
